Benefits of Smoking
HA...HA...
You didn't think you could find a list of benefits of smoking on this site?
Well, there are some and I'm going to list them for you. They come from my own observation of my smoking friends.
I have come to realize that a smoker is always trying to find a reason for smoking: he is happy, he smokes; he is mad, he smokes; he is nervous, he smokes; he is relax, he smokes; he is hot, he smokes; he is cold, he smokes; he is hungry, he smokes, he just ate something, he smokes; before sex, he smokes; after sex, he smokes, he is on the plane, he... no he can't smoke but he'd love to, after coffee, he HAS to smoke, after a drink, he HAS to smoke, etc...
So smoking does have some virtues, like making the smoker feel good.
With all of these virtues, maybe he should keep on smoking. Why Quit something that good? Why stop smoking? Why spend money to quit smoking?
The answer to that is inside of his brain. When he really thinks about it, it looks more like slavery. Cigarette addiction is powerful. He became so dependent on cigarettes that smoking has become the one thing he does the most in his life. A pack a day is 20 smokes. What else do you do more than 20 times a day besides breathing and blinking your eyes? What I'm saying is probably, deep inside, every smoker would like to quit, except that it's not an easy task. There is some help out there, and this is what this site is all about, how to quit smoking.
A smoker might disagree with all the arguments that non smokers usually come out with to convince people that smoking is bad, that smoking kills or causes cancer, etc.. and he may say that it's all bull... He may even think that all of those Smoking related fires, smoking related deaths, second hand smoke related illnesses, is all imagination or forgery. No matter what he thinks, he must admit that there is indeed some truth about smoking related fires, smoking related deaths, and if he takes a good look at his kids face while he puffs a cloud of cigarette smoke into the child's face, he will see some pain.
The smoker will not be able to come up with a single argument to convince a non smoker that smoking is good and that he should start smoking.
The Title of this section is missing a few words..., it should read "Benefits of Smoking for the Tobacco Industry"
Smoker,...look at the Tobacco Companies and give them a hard punch in the nose.
You fell into the trap they prepared for you while you were too young to resist and now they got your nuts in their hands. THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN WIN IS BY QUITTING.
